Up at 9:00. Made breakfast (the usual sausages and old-fashioned oatmeal) which reminds me Susan (sister-in-law) promised to send Scottish square-cut oats when they return to Portland, OR.
Did a little laundry, dressed, called Pop and got to the rink at about 10:15. Skated until 11:15 (that's when the "public" session starts). Called Kate at about 11:00 from the rink, she was glad I gave her the morning "off" to finish up last minute cleaning. Came back to Pop's and Mom had wisked herself away in the Blue Beetle to WH Center for some last-minute Christmas shopping. Made Papa a hot-dog on the GFG then home for 1:00'ish. Called Kate, we might see Lord of the rings, part 2 again! in Plainville this time. Tried to take a nap - Lala called at 2:30 on his way back in the office from lunch. He said we were supposed to wrap presents together tonight. Kate emailed me directions for including a link a blog. Gotta get in the shower...

So far, list includes:
-mail cards
-pick up Christmas ham at Marandinos
-take Mom up on offer to fill my olive oil jar from her jumbo tin
-finish shopping for Joe and family
-share Santili's market article with Mom
-knit
-get holiday hours at Veterans Memorial Rink - West Hartford
